The Town of Beausejour is pleased to announce their participation in the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead’s Electronic Waste Program.

All Residents of the Town of Beausejour are now eligible to use the Electronic Waste (E-Waste) station at the Rural Municipality of Brokenhead’s Public Works Yard, located on the Northeast corner of junction P.T.H. 44 and P.R. 302.

Electronics suitable for drop off includes computers, printers, televisions, radios, microwaves, and house phones. Items not being accepted are appliances with compressors such as fridge/freezers, air conditioners and water coolers.

With the rise of modern technology, there is a need for proper recycling. Old electronics may contain toxic substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and chromium which require proper processing to ensure they’re not released into the environment.

Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 8:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M. year round.

E-Waste is no longer accepted at the Memorial Arena located at 434 Ashton Avenue. This is your opportunity to dispose of your e-waste for recycling in an environmentally friendly manner.
